Thermography

The measurements are carried out to detect the existence of possible "hot spot" on those points in machinery spaces that could be liable to represent a source of ignition in case of spread of flammable liquids (fuel or oil). Those points having a superficial temperature exceeding a temperature of 220°C according to regulation SOLAS 74 / II-2/4.2.2.6.1 are to be considered as "hot spots".
